How to Get to Buenos Aires
Carriers flying to Argentina include all major European Airlines (Iberia, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Air France, British), U.S. carriers (American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines) and many Latin American companies.
Argentine carrier is Aerolíneas Argentinas.
As a reference, a flight from Miami (U.S.) to Buenos Aires takes approximately 8½ hours; while a flight from Madrid (Spain) to Buenos Aires takes about 12 hours.
All international flights land at Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) in Ezeiza, located in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. Ezeiza International Airport is 45-minute drive from Buenos Aires.
In country travel, and travel between Argentina and other South American countries, are widely available from a variety of Argentine and foreign carriers.
All domestic flights and some regional flights to Uruguay and Chile leave from Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP), near downtown Buenos Aires.
The Central Bus Terminal is located in Retiro (next to the Retiro Train Terminal) and it houses dozens of private bus companies that connect Buenos Aires with the rest of Argentina and neighboring countries.
